Privacy Policy

At Parklee we take our users’ privacy and the safety of our users’ personal information very seriously. This Privacy Policy is intended to protect the use and disclosure of your information on the Parklee site, iOS Application or Android Application (hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Site”). Your information may also be collected and dispensed while using any of Parklee’s services, Site content, Site signup, Site login, or any other content or services offered through the Site (collectively referred to as the “Services”).
By using any of Parklee’s Services, you agree to the contents of this Privacy Policy, and you agree to Parklee’s collection, storage, disclosure and any other use of your personal information as defined below and any other information you choose to transmit during and after your use of Parklee’s Site and Services, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You also give Parklee permission to track your location and to contact you, when necessary.
This Privacy Policy pertains to any and all personal information that you provide to Parklee intentionally or unintentionally throughout the course of your use of the Service and thereafter. This personal information may be used by Parklee and/or its subsidiaries and/or business partners in any way Parklee sees fit, in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Collection and Use of your Personal Information
Your information may be collected through your use of the Site and Services. Personal information is required to create an account as well as to book a parking space, link your Stripe Account and to connect you with other Users. We may also display your personal information to other Users during your use of the Services.
Your personal information will be used to make your Site experience more enjoyable. Your personal information will be shared with third party advertisers to create a customized targeted-ad experience tailored to each User.Basic Account Information
Personal information requirements vary depending on your use of the site. Both space Owners and Renters are required to provide basic information, such as their legal name, address, phone number, e-mail address, Stripe Account information and feedback and ratings for other Users on the Site.
Owners will also be required to provide a physical description of the parking Parklee as well as an accurate photograph of the parking Parklee. Renters will be required to provide a valid driver’s license number as well as the license plate information of the vehicle.
Site log-in credentials, password and transactional information based upon your activity on the Site user feedback and comments, demographic information, and authentication information will also be collected and used by Parklee to make your experience more enjoyable by giving us the ability to recommend local parking Parklees, to provide customer service and to create targeted advertising on the Site.

Locational information
Because Parklee’s Services are location based, we need to collect information regarding your location during the booking process, during the rental term and/or for payment processing. This location information is necessary to help Parklee provide our Users with accurate, current and convenient parking Parklee information. You acknowledge that Parklee will access your location using whatever means you utilize to access the site, and you grant Parklee permission to locate you via GPS tracking or any other means available.

Financial information
Parklee does not process your payments directly through the Site. Your financial information will be provided and stored our third party processing company, Stripe. All personal and payment information stored and used by Stripe is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy and is not covered by Parklee’s Privacy Policy in any way.

User Content/Non-personal Information:
You will be asked to supply your thoughts and feelings regarding your experience with other Users and with the Service. We encourage our Users to rate parking spaces and other Users by using the Feedback feature of the site. Once you provide non-personal content, such as a rating, Parklee reserves the right to use that date and to continue disclosing your non-personal data on the site and to third parties indefinitely, even after you have terminated your account.

Personal Information vs. Non-Personal Information
Information exclusive to you (such as your name, phone number, driver’s license number, etc.) is treated as personal information. Information such as the device you use to access Services, ratings you give to other users and similar anonymous information is considered non-personal information. Your personal information will never be shared with third parties. We reserve the right to provide your non-personal information to third parties. If personal information is combined with non-personal information we will treat it as personal information and will not share it with third parties.

IP Address Information:
When you access the Site and use the Services, we automatically receive and record certain information from you, including your IP address, location, browser or mobile platform, cookie information, and page information you requested. Generally, this information is collected and used in the aggregate so that we can make the Services better. We treat this information as non-personal Information, except where required to do so by applicable law.

E-mail and Text Message Rates
To ensure speedy transactions, Parklee communicates with Users primarily via direct e-mail or text message. Please be advised that your mobile phone carrier’s data and text message rates will apply. By using any of the Services, you give us permission to send you text messages and emails regarding any transaction you are involved in. You may choose to opt-out of e-mail communication and/or text messaging (other than those associated with a parking transaction or account-related matters) by simply clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any non-User specific e-mail or following the prompts in any non-User specific text message.
Information Collected Using Cookies: your browser stores cookies for each website you visit and we use cookies stored by your browser to enable our servers to recognize your locational data, mobile or web browser, and to guage how and when you visit the Site and otherwise use the Services. Cookies from your web browser may be associated to your Account so we can better tailor our Services to match your needs. Our cookies don’t, by themselves, contain Personal Information. Our advertising partners may deliver cookies to provide targeted ads to you. This Privacy Policy covers Parklee’s actions – not third party advertisers who send you cookies or their data usage.Statistical Information:
We collect statistical Information about how both unregistered and registered Users, collectively, use the Services (“Statistical Information”). We may use your personal information as well as non-personal information for these statistics. Rest assured that your personal information will not be shared with third parties, it will only be used internally. Statistical information will only be shared with third parties if it only contains non-personal information.

Who do you share my information with?
Advertisers and third parties that help us improve the Services.

IP Address Information:
We collect and store IP address information, but we do not make it public. Sometimes we share this information with our partners, service providers and other persons with whom we conduct business, as we describe in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collected by Mobile Applications
Our Services are primarily provided through an application on your mobile, tablet computer or similar device (“Mobile Application”). You agree that we may collect and use technical data and related information, including but not limited to, technical information about your device, system and application software, and peripherals, that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support and other services to you (if any) related to such Mobile Applications.
When you use any of our Mobile Applications, the Mobile Application may automatically collect and store some or all of the following information from your mobile device (“Mobile Device Information”), including without limitation:
• Your preferred language and country site (if applicable)
• Your phone number or other unique device identifier assigned to your mobile device – such as the International Mobile Equipment Identity or the Mobile Equipment ID number
• The IP address of your mobile device
• The manufacturer and model of your mobile device
• Your mobile operating system
• The type of mobile Internet browsers you are using
• Your geolocation
• Information about how you interact with the Mobile Application and any of our web sites to which the Mobile Application links, such as how many times you use a specific part of the mobile application over a given time period, the amount of time you spend using the Mobile Application, how often you use the Mobile Application, actions you take in the Mobile Application and how you engage with the Mobile Application
• Information to allow us to personalize the services and content available through the Mobile Application
We may use information automatically collected by the Mobile Application (including the Mobile Device Information) in the following ways:
• To operate and improve our Mobile Applications, other Services, our company’s services, and tools;
• To create aggregated and anonymized information to determine which Mobile Application features are most popular and useful to users, and for other statistical analyses;
• To prevent, discover and investigate violations of this Privacy Policy or any applicable terms of service or terms of use for the Mobile Application, and to investigate fraud, chargeback or other matters;
• To customize the content or services on the Mobile Application for you, or the communications sent to you through the Mobile Application.
• To recommend a parking spot close to your location.
Information You Elect to Share with us:
We tell you how we intend to use your data when you submit it to us – for example, for the use of Site features, response to advertisers, information requests, products or services purchases, survey responses, or other purposes. Some of your activity is public by default, i.e. content you publicly post and some profile information. Account holders have this data associated with them. Unregistered users have anonymous information tracked (such as what pages they have visited) through cookies and stored by us.
If you share Personal Information using certain public features of the Site, other people who see it may share that information without your control or knowledge. Specifically – people will know where you are parked. Be careful when sharing Personal Information through publicly accessible websites and services.

User Profile Information:
We share your username with other users and only the other Personal Information that you elect to share in the Account. You will need to share Personal Information with other Users in order to complete a parking transaction through the Site.

Information Shared with our Partners:
We work closely with other businesses that sometimes sell or promote products to you through our Services. We will clearly state when one of our partners is associated with a transaction, and we will share your Personal Information that is related to such transactions with that business, unless you have opted out of marketing partner communications during Account registration or through your Account settings.

Information Shared with our Agents:
We employ and contract with people and other entities that perform certain tasks on our behalf and who are under our control (our “Agents”). We may need to share Personal Information with our Agents in order to provide the Services. Unless we tell you differently, our Agents do not have any right to use Personal Information or other Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. By using the Services, you automatically consent to our sharing your Personal Information with our Agents.

Information Shared for Business Use
We may share your information, including your Personal Information, Feedback and Usage Information with our parent, subsidiaries and affiliates for internal reasons. We also reserve the right to disclose and transfer all such information: (i) to a subsequent owner, co-owner or operator of the Services or applicable database; or (ii) in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, restructuring, the sale of substantially all of our membership interests and/or assets or other corporate change, including, during the course of any due diligence process.

Information Disclosed Pursuant to Business Transfers:
If our business gets acquired, we sell substantially all of our assets, or we go out of business, user Information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that this is ok, and that any acquirer of us or our assets may continue to use your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Information Disclosed for Our Protection and the Protection of Others:
We also reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we reasonably believe is necessary to (i) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (ii) enforce the terms and conditions of the Services you utilize, including to investigate potential violations thereof, (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, (iv) respond to user support requests, or (v) protect our rights, property or safety, our users and the public. This includes exchanging Information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and spam/malware prevention.

Information We Share With Your Consent:
Except as set forth above, you will be notified when your Personal Information may be shared with third parties, and you will be able to prevent the sharing of such Personal Information.

Security of Personal Information:
Your Account is password protected for your privacy and security. Please don’t give out your password, and please sign out of public computers when accessing your Account. We try our best to protect your security, but we can’t guarantee it. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time.
International Users: we process data in the United States & United States’ data protection laws are different
If you are located outside of the United States, note that the Site is (i) hosted by computer servers in the United States, (ii) processes and stores data in the United States, and (iii) United States federal and state governments, courts, or law enforcement or regulatory agencies may be able to obtain disclosure of your Information through laws applicable in the United States. If you use the Site or Services or share Personal Information with us, then this constitutes your consent to the transfer of your Personal Information outside of your home country, including the United States.

What Happens After I Delete My Account?
You may delete your account at any time, however, any activity generated prior to deletion, including feedback and reviews, will remain stored by us and may be publicly accessible. We also retain the right to use your personal information internally after your account has been deleted, but your personal information will not be shared with third parties unless said information is used in a “Business Transfer” or for “Business Use”, as defined above.

Information belonging to Minors
This Site may only be used by individuals who carry a valid driver’s license. Therefore, the use of this Site by anyone too young to hold a license is prohibited. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under the legal driving age in the state in which they reside.

Compliance with Law
We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. Thus, we may access, use, preserve, transfer and disclose your information (including Personal Information), including disclosure to third parties such as government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we reasonably determine is necessary and appropriate: (i) to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, subpoenas, governmental requests or legal process; (ii) to protect and/or defend the Terms and Conditions for online and mobile Services or other policies applicable to any online and mobile Services, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (iii) to protect the safety, rights, property or security of the Company, our Services or any third party; (iv) to protect the safety of the public for any reason; (v) to detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues; an /or (vi) to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, an illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity. Further, we may use IP address or other Device Identifiers, to identify users, and may do so in cooperation with third parties such as copyright owners, internet service providers, wireless service providers and/or law enforcement agencies, including disclosing such information to third parties, all in our discretion. Such disclosures may be carried out without notice to you.
The choice of venue for any legal claims resulting from or related to the use of Parklee’s services is specified in Parklee’s Terms and Conditions. Please be sure to read the Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Site or Services.

Effective Privacy Policy
This privacy Policy may be change from time to time. You will be notified of any changed to this Policy either via the Site or through e-mail. Any changes will take effect from the effective date at the end of the Policy. Any personal information collected by us will be subject to the Policy in place at the time the information was collected.
